In online craps the craps table is displayed on the monitor. Online craps has several bets and the areas for placing these bets are clearly designated on the layout of the table. In order to place a bet the player should click the chip of the desired denomination and then the desired betting area.
After the bets are placed then the player clicks the “roll” button to roll the two dice. There are two issues to be kept in mind while playing online craps. Some bets are placed after the “point” is established so it is possible to roll the dice even if there are no bets on the table. Some of the bets stretch to more than one roll therefore the player cannot exit from the game until all bets are resolved. Once the bets are resolved the software is programmed to automatically make the payouts.
The first roll of the dice in online craps table is called the Come Out Roll. The common bets before the Come Out Roll are the Pass Line or Don’t Pass bets. If a 7 or 11 is rolled (the number referring to the sum of the numbers displayed on the dice), the game ends immediately with the bets on the Pass Line paying even money. If a roll of 2, 3 or 12 is made, then the bets on the Don’t Pass paying even money. If any other number is rolled then that number becomes the point and the game continues. The point is indicated on the monitor. After a point is established on the Come Out Roll the Pass Line bet wins if the point is rolled again before rolling a 7 and the Don’t Pass bet wins if a 7 is rolled before rolling the point again.
There are a number of bets that can be placed in online craps.
A Field Bet wins if a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 is rolled on the next roll of the dice.
A roll of 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 pays out even money.
A roll of 2 pays out 2 to 1 and a roll of 12 pays out 3 to 1.
For all other rolls the bet loses.
A Big 6 Bet wins when a 6 is rolled before a 7, and pays at 7 to 6.
Some of the other bets in online craps are:
Any Seven that pays 4 to 1 if the next roll is a 7
Any Craps that pays 7 to 1 if the next roll is a 2 or 3
Crap 2 that pays 30 to 1 if the next roll is a 2
